Issues with “AnythingSlider” JQuery

Hello all!

I’ve got two questions that are somewhat related….

1.
I’ve implemented the "Anything Slider" slideshow to a site I’m working on and it functions great, but the load time is dreadful. Not to mention the fact that while the page is loading the pictures (slides) seem to load vertically blocking the content until the slider is completely loaded.

Here is the site: http://www.rickmurphygolf.com

I’m using the slider on multiple pages on the site and it seems to be worst on the index page.

2. I’ve got some tabs set up on a product page for my company and I chose to use the tabs so that we could cram lots of information on one page and not have the user navigate away from the product page. When the page loads the content goes crazy loading and displays all tabs at once until the entire thing is loaded.

Here is the page: http://www.notionmusic.com/products/notion3.html

Any help with decreasing load time or fix the javascript so that it doesn’t display everything while it’s loading is GREATLY appreciated.

I’m looking for basically the same idea. I have a web page with six big folio images and I don’t want to load all six of them until the user clicks the left or right buttons. I’d love to figure out a way that AnythingSlider only loads the images immediately left and right of the image that you’re on. That would decrease the initial page download.

Since Anything Slider uses elements, I’m not sure how to go about doing this.
