I’m looking for basically the same idea. I have a web page with six big folio images and I don’t want to load all six of them until the user clicks the left or right buttons. I’d love to figure out a way that AnythingSlider only loads the images immediately left and right of the image that you’re on. That would decrease the initial page download.

Since Anything Slider uses elements, I’m not sure how to go about doing this.

I’m not sure if the php code is generated first or not, but it’s best to think about the file outputting each line as it is written. HTML will just output text, and PHP gets run and outputs text.

Having the PHP at the top of the file is a good idea, but don’t print anything to the screen. Save your PHP generated content into variables for output later like below.

Then within your HTML code have PHP snippets that output the PHP variables.
